- Tearing off of old roofing down to the plywood roof deck
- Applying leak barrier and synthetic underlayment for premium secondary protection beneath the shingles
- Installing perimeter and transition 26 gauge steel flashings
- Installing starter strips, field shingles, and ridge caps
- Installing new exhaust vents
