    Residential Roofing Products We Install

    Asphalt Composition Shingles

    Grand-Canyon-Roofing Asphalt composition shingles are the most common product installed on homes across America. The most popular shingles are 3 tab, architectural laminate and heavy weight, key cut shingles. 3 tab shingles typically carry a 20-30 year material warranty and have an actual roof life of 12-20 years, depending on the quality of the shingle and the amount of roof maintenance administered.

    Architectural laminates like the GAF Timberline HD shingle and key-cuts such as the GAF Grand Canyon now carry a 50 year limited lifetime material warranty. The actual roof life of the Timberline HD is 17-30 years and the roof life of the Grand Canyon is 25-40 years. Each of these shingles have a fiberglass mat that makes up their foundation.
    The mat is coated in asphalt and special weatherproofing granules are added. Using asphalt shingles is usually the most cost effective solution when installed as a complete roofing system.

    Standing Seam Metal & Metal Roofing Shingles

    Standing seam has quickly become one of the most desired roofing systems for Puget Sound homeowners. The simple reason is the longevity of the system and the low maintenance requirements. The average asphalt roof will need to be replaced every 20-25 years if maintained well. A metal roof on the other hand can last 50 years or more if installed properly by an experienced metal roofing contractor.
    There are many different types of metal roofing solutions such as standing seam metal, metal shingles, metal that is designed to look like slate or wood shakes. Most metal products come in all types of colors to meet your needs.
    With the wide variety of panels and systems there is a metal roofing solution for just about any type of roof from an 18:12 steep slope roof all the way down to 1/2:12. Our employees are factory trained and certified with Custom-Bilt Metals to ensure a top-quality installation and customer satisfaction.

    Wood Shake & Shingle Roofing Systems

    We install quality wood shake roofing systems. In fact, the Beatties, owners of Chase Construction North West, Inc., recently had our crew install a new wood shake roof on their own home. We utilize only the finest # 1 pressure treated, natural hand split cedar shakes from Imperial Shake Mill. Our heavy 3/4″ thick butt shingles are fastened with stainless steel nails and staples.
    Genuine wood shake roofs can last up to 50 years but must be maintained properly in order to reach their potential roof life. Chase NW offers affordable roof maintenance solutions to ensure your roof reaches its intended life span and provides premium waterproofing coverage for as long as possible.

    Certified GAF TruSlate Installer

    Slate-roofing. We are proud to represent GAF as one of the few certified TruSlate contractors in Washington State. TruSlate roofing systems are one of the most durable waterproofing systems known to man. If you need a roof that can stand up to harsh weather and ice, this is a great choice for your building. With GAF’s advance technology, the slate product they offer is affordable and comparable in price to some of the synthetic slate alternatives on the market today.

    TruSlate must be installed as a complete system. Over the years the most common failures we see as we inspect slate roofs is not utilizing a proper batten system and underlayment. Special moisture barriers, a strong synthetic underlayment and leak barrier create a solid roof deck protection for your structure. Patented TruGrip stainless steel battens and hangers lock each slate into place. This is a quality, long-lasting roofing system made affordable for you!

    Single Ply Roofing (PVC, TPO, EPDM)

    For low slope roofs in the Northwest, a roofing membrane is often the best solution. We offer three different options for our residential customers including PVC, TPO and EPDM.
    Single ply is a membrane roofing system that can be mechanically attached with screws and plates or adhered with special bonding adhesive. With either application the seams of the membrane must be welded. Each type of membrane is available in different thicknesses ranging from .45 mil to 90 mil and standard material warranties range from 15 years to 30 years.
    As an authorized contractor we are able to provide you with special no-dollar-limit system warranties on our single ply roofs. Single ply is a great choice that can eliminate the stress that low slope roofs can cause home owners.

    Torchdown Roofing Membranes & Systems

    Torchdown roofing is either a plastic (APP) or rubber (SBS) modified asphaltic membrane. It is an effective and economic solution for flat roofing systems. By applying heat from a torch, the membrane is adhered to the approved roof deck. Torchdown can be applied in layers. One ply of torchdown (one roll) qualifies for a 10 year material warranty.
    Adding more plies on top can increase the warranty to 20 years depending on the application. No-dollar-limit system warranties are available with torchdown systems on residential homes for up to 20 years. Chase NW is a certified GAF torchdown installer and properly insured to apply torch systems.
