Counting Our Blessings and Spending Time with Loved Ones

On this day, we have been counting our blessings and are incredibly thankful for our amazing crew, our friends and family, and the ability to serve and provide value to all those in need of a solid roof on their home. once again! On Thanksgiving morning, the La Conner Chamber of Commerce will host the Turkey Trot. This event will include a morning run/walk and is the perfect way to justify indulging in wonderful foods later in the day and going back for second, or third helpings! Starting on Thanksgiving Day, Pierce County Parks and Recreation is pleased to present the 21^st annual “Fantasy Lights at Spanaway Park”. This is the largest holiday drive-through in the Northwest and is a perfect way to inspire awe and smiles with your loved ones this holiday. The display will feature nearly 300 elaborate displays and thousands of sparkling lights! The stunning two-mile drive along Spanaway Lake is a Puget Sound staple and a memorable lakeside tradition for the whole family! After what is sure to be a Thanksgiving to remember, head to the Macy’s Holiday Parade in Seattle on the 27^th! For those stressed out by the large Black Friday shopping crowds, the Parade will offer a wonderful alternative. Featured will be more than 25 inflatable floats, local and community marching bands, drill teams, sports teams and over 650 costumed characters! We cannot wait! As always, the holidays are a time for helping those less fortunate so head to the nearest homeless shelter and do a great deed this holiday season as well! Wishing you all the best Puget Sound!
