Owens Corning Leading the Way
November 15th, roofers from around the Puget Sound gathered at the Red Hook Brewery in Woodinville for a time of education and of course great drinks! Owens Corning, a leader in the industry, strives to make the world a better place. One way they do that is by improving the industry! The Event
What a great venue to host such a great event! This state-of-the-art brewery located in the heart of scenic Woodinville, WA, features 24 taps of the freshest Redhook beers around, including brewery-only, exclusive small batch beers. Heading to Woodinville, we were excited to join Owens Corning and leading industry experts to learn about successful tools in the industry. We had a great time meeting with fellow roofers, and learning how to grow our business, and better serve our customers.

Our friends Brady Campbell & Jarrod Gaiser from EagleView Technologies were there to teach us how to utilize the latest tools and techniques in areal imagery in helping to better serve our customers.
-Dave Carlson and Chris Pershing, the brother in-laws who started the company in an effort to answer the question “Is there a better way”. As Chris and Dave discussed the 
challenges of accurately measuring roofs, they began researching to see if simple, accurate technology was available for determining roof measurements. They discovered that software did not exist to simply and accurately determine roof measurements, so they began collaborating on ways to create new technology to produce a remote roof measurement using available photography.- And we are so glad they did!
We also heard from Mark Burger, In-home Sales Training. Mark taught us about Owen Corning industry leading products, programs and resources to help us grow our business. He gave us some great information on how to make our customers feel comfortable, and easy ways to convey our knowledge in an understandable way.
