Our very own Lucy, has given us many years of excitement and love, and we would not trade her for anything! The event will take place on July 11th from 10am to 4pm and is sure to entertain with many activities and furry friends as far as the eye can see!
Poochapalooza has been deemed “a country fair for dogs” and is an annual outdoor dog event in Marysville centered around showcasing dogs at their best and brightest. This year will mark the 9th annual celebration and the “Best in Show” categories chosen for this year are sure to leave you with a smile on your face and a desire for all the furry contestants to walk out with a first place ribbon. If you want your dog to compete, this event will be the perfect opportunity to showcase the fun skills your dog possesses and let the training begin! This year’s award categories include: Best Costume, Best Voice, Best Kisser, Highest Jumper, Wackiest Pet Trick, Biggest & Smallest Dog, and Cutest Ugly Dog. These fun contests are sure to keep tails wagging! Afterwards, you can get a front row seat and watch the pooches strut their stuff in Poochapalooza’s annual Fashions & Rescues Runway Show! This will be a true red carpet event as Cheryl Keninger will be welcomed and her masterful works of fashion will be featured
on the dogs. Her outfits run into the hundreds, even thousands of dollars and one fancy doggy dress will even be sequined with Swarovski crystals from Austria! The fashion show will feature adoptable dogs from several noteworthy rescue groups and the purpose is to find each of these adorable pups a good home. Lastly, the event will feature exciting Pooch Pie Eating Contests hosted by Dining Dog Cafe and Bakery. Dogs love pie and this part of the event will cater to their meat and dessert-loving cravings. If your dog has a hearty appetite and a desire to compete in this event, fill out the online contest entry form or enter while at the event! Top finishers will receive blue ribbons, but win or lose, each contestant will receive a gift certificate to dine at the Dining Dog Cafe! What a fun event!!
