An Inspirational Evening to Benefit Ovarian Cancer Research
It is almost time once again for the annual Rivkin Family & Friends Auction happening November 5th. Chase Construction NW, Inc. is happy to be a part of such an important opportunity to help out in the world of cancer research! Beginning in 2002, this annual auction actually started as two separate events: The Fisher Family Golf Invitational and the Courage 4 Life Golf Tournament. Eventually the two became one, in the form of an evening auction event. Now this event is the Northwest’s largest ovarian cancer research fundraiser bringing in nearly one million dollars just last year!

What it’s All About
Proceeds from the Family & Friends Auction benefit the Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer Research, and their work in advancing research nationwide in areas of advanced treatment, early detection, and the prevention of ovarian cancer. The Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer Research is a partnership of the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, and the Swedish Medical Center.
“The Rivkin Center also provides the Northwest’s only Ovarian Cancer Early Detection Screening Program to women, free of charge, throughout the Pacific Northwest.”
The Evening Festivities
Located in the beautiful Hyatt Regency Bellevue, the night begins at 5:30 with a silent auction featuring items and services donated from businesses all over the PNW. From items you can use in your home, to items perfect for gifts, to date night and vacation packages, there is something for everyone! At 7:00 we sit down to 4 course gourmet dinner and participate in an entertaining live auction hosted by the actor, standup comedian, singer, dancer, choreographer, director and emcee. David Silverman. The night’s Emcee is none other than Aaron Levine, the sports director on Q13 Fox News. We also get to hear from Cancer Survivors telling how important the cause of cancer research is. At 9:30, the night closes out with live entertainment and dancing!
