Here at Chase Construction North West Inc., we deeply care about our community and neighbors. We have been in business in the Puget Sound area for over 13 years and we want to ensure the best for all our customers and friends. Recently, we have gotten involved with a worthy cause – the Violent Crime Victim Services organization of Tacoma. Their mission seeks to provide services in our community for the victims and survivors of homicide. The organization sets out to act as an advocate for these families by offering them peer support groups, crisis intervention, mental health referrals, and faith community referrals. VCVS strives to ensure that such victims receive all the they are entitled to related to their constitutional rights, due dignity and respect, and a meaningful role in the criminal justice system.
We truly respect the goal of VCVS.
As well as respecting their goals, we have attempted to be active in their community gathering and fundraising efforts as of recently. The loss of a loved one brings about a new reality for those involved as well as plans that have to be changed or set aside all together. VCVS is reaching out to co-victims of homicide in need of support, treat these co-victims with the upmost respect, identify and meet their needs and through all of this, vie for them in their quest for justice. We believe these victims need exactly such an advocate and we are proud to be associated with such a worthy cause! The grieving process is incredibly difficult and we are so glad that there is a support system out there to facilitate the healing process. Watching the program testimonials truly exemplify the power of the VCVS services as participants share all of the resources that assisted them during a greatly difficult time. VCVS also provides education and training on topics related to grief, caregivers, and the impact posed on the families involved. Thank you VCVS for the needed and worthy services you provide!
