They do this by implementing successful programs geared towards the benefit of those who need it most. We are proud to be members of such programs and have been since 2013.
GAF’s Programs Dedicated to Giving Back
The first such program is affiliated with Habitat for Humanity and seeks roofing contractors who are willing to build and renovate for families in need of affordablehousing- completely free of charge! Many would be resistant towards this, but with our missions work in Africa and Thailand, we are no strangers to donating our time, material, and efforts. We have willingly done such work and always seek new opportunities to assist our neighbors in need. GAF selflessly provides all roofing materials and donates a System Plus ltd. warranty for each new roof installed under this program.
In an innovative attempt to help, GAF recently has created the idea of the “Hire a Hero” Program. This idea centers around Master Elite roofers hiring returning military members that have gone through the “Roofing Academy Training Program.” The program will be put into effect this June and we cannot wait to participate, and meet our new staff members!
