Cobra IntakePro and Cobra Continuous Ridge Vent in Action

Attic ventilation is one of the most important yet frequently overlooked considerations when installing a new roof.  A properly functioning ventilation system can significantly extend the life of your roof, and a poorly functioning one can cause moisture damage and shorten your roof’s lifespan.

We believe that two of the best attic ventilation products are GAF’s Cobra IntakePro and Cobra Exhaust Vent.  IntakePro allows cool, fresh air into the attic, while the Exhaust Vent allows the warm, moist air to exit.  This cycle keeps the roof system dry.

Chase Construction North West, Inc. was recently asked to install these for our Habitat for Humanity home.  Since they’re such great products, naturally we were excited!  They have such a unique look and are rising in popularity, so we want to show you what you can expect with a new Cobra system for your home!

The slit across the roof near the bottom is the IntakePro.  The Cobra Exhaust Vent is hidden beneath the ridge shingles, and it can be seen as a slight raised-up positioning of the ridge shingles.  The ridge is the peak where the two upward-sloping sides of the roof meet.

Together, these great GAF products complement the home with a slick, sophisticated look!

Whether you’re in need of repairs or a whole new roof, CHASE CONSTRUCTION NORTH WEST, INC. wants to help!  We’ve been roofing contractors since 2002 and have been a MASTER ELITE® roofing contractor with GAF since 2011.  We are looking forward to the many years of working with GAF to provide the best products for you!  Contact us today at (253) 445-8950 or fill out our quick estimate form!
