Chase Construction stands by their work and that has made all the difference for us. We had an issue and Chase was so prompt to not only fix the problem but also very understanding, kind, and helpful throughout the process. We highly recommend using them.
A+ experience replacing my roof with Chase Construction. I shopped around and ended up going with Chase due to solid reviews, excellent warranty, better value for money compared to a few of their competitors, and good customer service. I was particular impressed with the diligence and hard work of the crew (despite the freezing weather). Our next door neighbor commented on how meticulous they were during the installation.
Chase Construction North West Inc. did a stellar job on my barn roof. They were quick, efficient, transparent and courteous. They went above and beyond to clean up after themselves and make sure that I had all my questions answered every step of the way. I don’t give recommendations lightly but I would feel remiss if I didn’t shout my thankfulness and admiration for Chase Construction North West Inc. from my new rooftop.
I was extremely pleased with Chase Construction. We used them for a commercial roofing project and the communication and quality of work were phenomenal. Very easy to work with. There was actually a small leak after they were done, I'm not sure it was even their fault but they immediately sent someone to diagnose and fix the issue (have had zero problems since). Highly recommended.
We highly recommend Chase Construction NW. Gary was very easy to work with and he did not try to oversell us on things we didn't need. We have used them in the past for a skylight replacement and roof leak repairs (which was great), and when it came time to replace our aging roof, Chase was the first we called. The crew of 4-5 people came in, did there work, and cleaned up at the end of each day. The project took 4 days, including new gutters and downspouts. We will definitely use Chase in the future.
Frequently Asked Questions
What factors affect the cost of a roof replacement?
Several factors affect the cost of a roof replacement, including roof size, pitch, design complexity, roofing material, existing roof layers, decking condition, flashing, ventilation, chimney and skylight details, accessibility, and labor. The cost can also increase when a roof requires structural repairs, extensive tear-off, or replacement of damaged components. A professional inspection allows a roofing contractor to identify these conditions before providing an accurate estimate. How can I tell if a contractor is ripping me off?
A high roofing estimate does not automatically mean a contractor is overcharging. Homeowners should look at the scope of work, materials, labor, warranties, tear-off requirements, roof complexity, decking repairs, ventilation, flashing, and other project details when evaluating a price. Be cautious when a contractor cannot explain the work being recommended, refuses to provide a detailed written estimate, pressures you to sign immediately, or identifies extensive damage without providing evidence. Comparing multiple detailed estimates is one of the best ways to understand whether a proposed roofing price is reasonable. How can I tell if a roofing contractor is reputable?
A reputable roofing contractor should be properly licensed and insured, have a verifiable history of completed projects, communicate clearly, provide a detailed written estimate, and be willing to explain the materials and installation methods being proposed. Homeowners should also verify contractor credentials, read reviews from multiple sources, ask for references when appropriate, and make sure the contract clearly explains the scope of work, payment schedule, warranties, and responsibilities of both parties. In Washington, homeowners can also verify contractor licensing information through the Washington State Department of Labor & Industries. What damages a roof the most?
Moisture, severe weather, poor installation, inadequate ventilation, lack of maintenance, and prolonged exposure to sunlight can all contribute to roof damage. In Western Washington, persistent moisture and moss growth can be particular concerns. Wind can loosen or damage shingles, while improperly installed flashing and drainage components can allow water to enter vulnerable areas. Regular inspections and prompt repairs can help prevent relatively small problems from developing into more extensive roof damage. How much does it cost to replace a 1,000-square-foot roof?
The cost to replace a 1,000-square-foot roof depends on the roofing material, roof pitch, number of existing layers, decking condition, flashing, ventilation, accessibility, and local labor costs. A 1,000-square-foot roof with a simple design and standard asphalt shingles will generally cost less than a steep, complex roof requiring premium materials or extensive repairs. Homeowners should compare detailed estimates rather than choosing a contractor based solely on the lowest price.
